CHRIS SHALOM

Calm and serene, the city 'okene' in northern Nigeria state of kogi, a dedicated parishioner daily rings the bell of saint Andrews Anglican church to the parishioner's delight and gratitude for another day, and on this fine day of august 20th a star was BORN. Held by his mother’s hand as she dedicatedly attend choir rehearsals, he blabbed to the hymns and songs as they rehearsed, nodded, staggered and danced with them till he was old enough to stutter the hymns and sing them.

How he loved music so!! Music was short up in his bones and at every stage he was available to his passion. He sang in the choir through his teenage years. He relocated to Lagos(Nigeria) soon after and joined Christ embassy in 1995.there he received the baptism of the holy ghost and a sea of musical opportunities and personalities opened unto him, he soon became the church's response to Wanya Morris of "boys to men" with his wonderful vocals. Found a way with the drums but went ahead to master the keyboard, and ballads symphonies soon began to flow.

He became the music coordinator of his local church ( Christ Embassy Isolo) writing beautiful worship and praise, soul lifting songs. He organised concerts, seminars and had tremendous success. He wasn't going to stop there even as he decided to pursue his passion professionally. He took a course at the muson school of music and the university of lagos. then bit by bit he became a guru in production and went ahead to open a studio and has since been involved in production. He has worked with renown singers like onyeka owenu, Infinity, Obiwon ,Obi shine, Samsong, Frank Edwards, Eben, Jmartins, etc though he still found time to vocalise. but this good looking six footer church boy only desires to use his voice for the masters use. He wrote more inspiring worship songs and remained opened to more knowledge and he kept building his Christian materials and musical library and kept at his commitment in the house of God with delight. There he met and married his friend the lovely wife. Meet CHRISTOPHER SHALOM singer/writer/composer/producer/minister and a budding publisher[the Gospel] Today CHRIS SHALOM holds it true that the forest of rhythm still houses some new species with full and rich vocals, magnetic beats and revelation based lyrics. SECOND ALBUM DROPPING!!!!(MORE THAN A CONQUEROR) more songs rolling and the message still ringing and reigning. For CHRIS SHALOM, Jesus is the reason for it all!! with the microphone in his hands, this maestro just gets you  worshiping, praising, singing and dancing.The miracles continue with his fingers on the piano keys. A dexterous producer cruising world genre exposing his flexibility. now CHRIS ROCKS!!!!!

CIA

CIA (Christ I Abide) is a movement of 7 hiphop artists (DIKKY, PROPANE, NOLLY, KINSU, CEDAR, DABZ, DEXTA) who are out to affect lives positively through hiphop. Before they came together as a crew late last year (2011), they have been dropping singles individually and also doing hiphop cyphers with other hiphop artists of like minds on campus (University of Nigeria, Nsukka) which has gained audience online, and has also been featured on a few sites and blogs.
After a successful release of their debut single, "TOUCH DOWN" in March 2012, they are back again with another slamming jam. This time, it's a party jam with a crazy naija beat produced by KINSU, and it's titled WHAT YOU DO. It features three of the seven CIA members; KINSU, DABZ and NOLLY. This song will definitely get you on your feet and dancing!

El_zaccai fondly called 'zaccai' who being an Economist also, is first with the passion to edify the church and the world at large with rich hippy, R&B, hip life, sentimental gospel music. El_zaccai has been at his calling for over19 years and Has worked with various hit bands, hit making artistes, and building church praise teams and choirs across the length and breath of this great country. He went professional last year 2011 ensuring the production of a 10 tracked album titled 'INTRO-VERSE'.
